Você já se relacionou com alguém que de repente desapareceu da sua vida? Imagina você conversar frequentemente com alguém que acha que está envolvido, compartilhar suas histórias ou até mesmo chegar a se relacionar.
Aí você percebe que essa pessoa sumiu do nada sem ter dar explicações, te bloqueia das redes sociais, não responde mais as suas mensagens e você se pega se questionando: O que será que aconteceu?
No começo você fica preocupada (o) pensando que algo de ruim deve ter acontecido com essa pessoa para ela ter sumido sem ter dar explicações, não é mesmo? Mas com o tempo percebe que na verdade foi uma vítima de Ghosting, a palavra é derivada de ghost (fantasma em inglês).
E o termo que é usado para definir o ato de terminar uma relação sem deixar explicações, vem ganhando popularidade nos últimos meses.
Com o distanciamento social devido a COVID 19, a busca por relacionamentos virtuais aumentaram.
Apesar de sabermos que existem casos de relacionamentos virtuais terem se tornado namoro ou até mesmo casamento, muitas vezes esse tipo de envolvimento pode resultar em relações momentâneas e descartáveis.
Pois, da mesma forma que é simples se envolver com alguém virtualmente, o término tende a ser mais fácil, como se nunca tivesse existido algum envolvimento emocional entre as partes envolvidas.
Esse tipo de atitude de sumir da vida da pessoa sem dar explicações, é uma das maiores provas de falta de empatia. De acordo com o psicólogo Leonardo Morelli, a falta de empatia é um problema que nossa sociedade veem enfrentando.
“Temos dificuldades de ouvir, sentir, perceber o outro, enquanto persistirmos nessa forma de viver e de se comportar, teremos dificuldades de desenvolver nossa empatia e compaixão e, consequentemente teremos muitos problemas em relação à saúde mental”, explica o psicólogo.
Consequências
Ainda de acordo com o psicólogo Leonardo Morelli, a prática do ghosting é extremamente prejudicial para aqueles que a praticam.
“As consequências psicológicas futuras daquele que pratica o ghosting são sérias e, com certeza, uma delas é a dificuldade para se relacionar verdadeiramente. Pois,
através do celular é muito fácil sermos aquilo que a outra pessoa quer e ainda mais fácil cancelar ou bloquear aquelas que fazem algo que não gostamos. Já na vida real, não, temos envolvimento pessoal e não conseguimos deletar ninguém do nada.” comenta Leonardo.
E para finalizar o especialista ressalta que as vítimas de ghosting tem sua autoestima prejudicada, além de adquirir o medo de se envolver emocionalmente com alguém.
“As pessoas que sofrem esse tipo de violência virtual acabam se frustrando por criarem uma imagem de um príncipe ou princesa que logo irá abandoná-lo (a) sem muita explicação. Essa rejeição pode trazer problemas sérios, caso a autoestima desse indivíduo já esteja, de alguma forma, abalada. Além disso, maior será a resistência e o medo de conhecer novas pessoas por achar que todos os relacionamentos que ela tiver, trará as mesmas dores e tristezas”, finaliza
